On December 9, 2022, the recurrent annual event of the well-known Charitable Foundation City of Smile was held with a charity dinner, during which the results of the Foundation's activities were summed up, and further steps to help cancer carrier children were outlined. This time, the event was attended by the Founder and Executive Director of Meduni UMSI, Mr. Vaughn Martirosyan. Meduni is known for its numerous charitable actions in medicine in Armenia. Speaking at the event, Mr. Martirosyan announced the decision of Meduni UMSI to get involved in helping cancer carrier children, raise and donate $30,000 through fundraising for the City of Smile Foundation in the spring of 2023 by that contributing to the exceptionally important case of helping sick children to have a chance to recover.
